November 2007 Online Art Mall Newsletter

      Holiday Greetings,
Here we are in the month of Nov. "Thanksgiving" is upon us. A wonderful time of year as we prepare to spend time with family an friends old an new. My thought for this news letter was to do something a little different this year by adding a recipe that everyone even the cook can enjoy. Our recipe comes from our own Online Art Mall Family member Nancy. Add what you want an make it your own. This is a keeper for us all as it is so easy to prepare, feeds many an saves time for the cook to spend more family time on that special day to! Hope you all enjoy adding your own favorites with this fun recipe for all.

Nancy's version of the recipe below: "Doni's Holiday/Anytime Breakfast"
2 Cans Crescent Rolls
1 lb. pan sausage
1/2 brick of cream cheese.
Unroll 1 can of Crescent rolls on to a baking sheet, flatten and seal perforations.
Brown sausage, drain and add cream cheese blend well.
Place this on rolls in the pan then place other can of Crescent rolls on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. or till golden brown. This quick and easy treat can be varied by adding shredded cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, green chilies, etc. Let your imagination go!! This is a really great way for our cook of the day to get everyone fed and then attack the serious cooking for the Feast to follow. ENJOY!!!!!!

Now to list an share some of the new art we have added for you all this month, as always we hope you enjoy the new works of art from our phenomenal artist.

Paul Horton "A Free Spirit", "Down Our Street", "Follow a Dream" an "Still of the Night" all done in his one of a kind style.
Barbara James "In My Dreams", "Kaleidoscope Quay", "Picture This" an "Sunkissed". A spin on whimsical homes an land is her style.
Alexander Millar "King of the Road", "Whose Round is it Anyway?", "The Sunshine Boys", "She Said Yes" an "Surprise Surpise". He keeps the same people in his paintings just different days in there lives, always fun to look at his works.
Sarah Jane Szikora "The Biscuit Factory" an "We Are Not Amused". Sarah sales out regularly with her fun style.
Joy Kirton - Smith "Showgirl I", "Showgirl II", "Showgirl III", "Showgirl IV" You just might have to collect each of the Showgirls what a great set to have in your collection if you are a fan Joy's. Here are a few more we added of her works for you. "Vaudeville I", "Vaudeville II", " Promenade", "Venus" an last but not least "Venus and Her Maidens".
Mark Spain "Burning Desire", "Dance of Passion", "Midnight Seduction I",
"Midnight Seduction II" The majority of ideas develop when he is working on another painting or in the evening when he is relaxing. When this happens he does a small thumbnail size sketch so that he doesn't forget it. Then at a later date he will work the sketches up, until he can visualize it as a painting, with the use of models and props.
Robert Mertens A new artist to Online Art Mall. Take a look at the vibrant colors he uses.
Terry Isaac "Glacial Gathering" His view, Artist's Statement/Quote “I look for the special, transitory and magical moments in nature that appear with the right lighting, color and atmospheric conditions,” Isaacs says.
Robert Bateman "Winter Gathering - Horse Herd" Silhouetted against the snow, horses gather in a work of art as timeless as the mountains fading into the distance. "Coyote In Winter Sage" Bateman presents the ever-adaptable coyote at home in his surroundings, in this case, snow-dusted sagebrush. "Highbush Granberries - Cardinal", an "Intent - Cougar" Two of many Demonstrations of Nature's Diverse Delights! by Bateman. "Window Into Ontario" A Window to a World of Wonder!
Carl Brenders "Autumn Lady" Artists often prefer to paint male deer because of their massive and impressive antlers. But for Brenders, the captivating expression of a doe in autumn made for an irresistible subject. "One To One - Gray Wolf" Carl Brenders excels in his mastery of minute details, both visual and intrinsic. In this delightful piece, he's captured not only the individual characteristics of the cubs' appearance, but he also conveys the unique personalities of the siblings, from the timid to the more daring.
John Seerey Lester "Softy - White Tiger" The sheer majesty and beauty of the tiger, the largest of the wild cats, is matched by its power and strength. The white tiger belongs to the Indochinese subspecies emanating from the former principality of Rewa in central India. The stripes are a dark (almost black) gray-brown on a creamy white coat. "High Country Champion - Grizzly" A Stirring Classic on Canvas for the First Time.
John Paul Strain "New Years' Wish" One of the great love stories of the Civil War. General Stonewall Jackson and his wife Anna.
