John Dearman

John Dearman is considered by many the best new sporting artist to come on the Southwest scene in recent years.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he has sketched and painted wildlife and nature scenes most of his life.

Only in the past few years has he turned his full attention to a professional art career.  His success has been nothing short of phenomenal. Johns love of the Texas Gulf Coast and his ability to capture that affection in his art have earned him, in a very short time, a considerable following.  His art has been featured in the conservation efforts of the Gulf Coast Conservation Association and Ducks Unlimited.  In 1990, his design of a redfish was the Texas Saltwater Stamp and Print.
