Chuckwagon Serenade The chuckwagon was the cowboy's home away from home while out on the long and often lonesome cattle drives. The evening sunset is beautifully detailed with Jack's use of color and grace of light. He has not only shown the diversity of his art in "Chuckwagon Serenade", but also in the cowboy way of life. Many times after a long day's work the men would gather around the wagon with a guitar and fiddle to pass the time.
